TESTIMONY STUDIOS//..
We are a group of young people who have felt the call to testify our faith through the media. As today's media is falling into a secular void, we want to voice out our need for Christian values and morals to be reflected in today's films, music, television shows, internet sites and books. The media has a strong influence on today's youth. The foundations of their character are built from these influences. All too often these influences stem from popularity rather than good judgement. Our hope is to give insight and truth on such influences and to help build better foundations for our peers by engaging in the media in various forms.

RELAUNCH
There's been a LONG absence since the last update because of a lot of things that happened since. After our last issue, most of the group had to back down due to school work and other activities. I began to realize that this wasn't as easy as I thought it would be because I was approaching it from the wrong angle. We're changing the format a bit here and are going to try a new approach. So in the next few weeks, we'll be making changes on the site and will hopefully get the print version back up and running as well. For now, check the archives for stuff that we had written but never actually released. It's good to be back and it's good to have all of YOU back. -JoE-

LORD OF THE RINGS RETREAT
Yesterday, the Testimony Studios crew attended a retreat at St. Peter Chanel (Hawaiian Gardens, CA) which compared the themes of The Lord of the Rings with Christianity. It was our first video production. More details about that will be posted in the videos section as we progress through the production. But until then, there are some pictures from the event in the photos section. -JoE-

SECOND ISSUE
We're still a bit behind, but we're hoping to get back on track and on schedule by March. The second issue is done and available. This month, we focused on the topic of abortion and the many ways it's presented in films, television and music. I'm currently working on the message board for this site and the profiles for the staff members. Slowly but surely we'll get more stuff up and running. -JoE-

WELCOME
After three months of planning and 1 month of actual production, we've arrived. The first newsletter is done and this site is up and running. Of course we are a month and a half behind schedule and are furiously trying to catch up, but we're having fun in the process, and that's what counts right? As a basic introduction, this site is not only a supplement to the newsletter, but also has its own features. We'll be showcasing our own ventures in mass media through photography, videos, clothing, books and a lot more. This front page will keep you updated on the happenings here at Testimony Studios, so check back every now and then for the latest. -JoE-

TESTING
It's been two weeks in the design phase and one week in production. I like some parts of the site, but not everything. So I'm going to go back to the drawing board and see if I can come up with even more craziness. :D -JoE-
